How ethical is it that Coretta Scott King's funeral will be held in a place where many of the homophobic, aspiring theocrats spread their hateful brand of religiosity every Sunday?
Mrs. King was a courageous woman who stood against the oppression of all people. She openly spoke out for 'gay rights' even when it publicly put her at odds with her daughter who is one of the Religious Reich's cohorts.
Let us all remember Coretta Scott King for the remarkable person that she was, and not let this last ditch effort on the part of the Religious Reich's cohorts damage her memory and defile the legacy of inclusion and dignity that she left us.
